The art for sale below is by the Australian artist Lloyd Rees who was born in Brisbane in 1895. He developed a way of portraying the Australian landscape with great evocative power. Towards the end of his life he dwelt increaingingly on the different effects of light. Lloyd Rees died in 1988.
